Jim Filmer

Photographer & Visual Artist

Jim Filmer is a photographer and visual artist based in the beautiful Brisbane Valley, whilst also traveling across Australia and internationally on assignments.

Jim has been involved in photography for over 35 years. He learnt his trade utilising medium format and 35mm film stock, along with many hours in dark rooms with the lingering smells of chemical solutions. While digital imaging is common place now, Jim combines the romance and nostalgia of film with practicalities and flexibility of digital cameras in a range of shoots.
